Bentley drops full details about the 2011 Mulsanne

The world has seen the royal design lines of the 2011 Mulsanne from Bentley in the past few months but recently, the luxury carmaker decided to reveal the full specs of the luxury sedan, reports The Bentley Blog.

Bentley Mulsanne 2011The Mulsanne has a V8 6.75L powerplant that is capable of blasting out 505 horsepower under its hood. The torque of this vehicle is monstrous at 752 lb ft at 1,800 rpm. The powerful engine transmits all its power to the rear wheels via paddle shifting of an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The car features some dynamics settings an owner will be proud of. It is quite a presence being 18.25 feet in length, 75.8 inches in width, and 60 inches in height. Quite heavy too at 5,700 pounds.

Here is the new stuff we are talking about which is mostly about the cars aesthetics. The Mulsanne will be providing great entertainment ot its occupant with a high tech set up using a Naim unit blasting sound waves through 20 speakers. A standard setup of 14 speakers does not take things lightly too.

According to the Aston Martin executives, the Cygnet is set to bring some innovation, intelligence, and artistry to the small car segment of the market.

Roadster version of the Wiesmann MF5 graces Frankfurt

The Weismann MF5 had the attention of the whole motoring world when it went into production last year. The reasons are obvious, the MF5 has an exotic appeal with its wild lines and potent stance. The attendees of the Frankfurt motor show had their eyes wide open when the Roadster MF5 from Weismann was unveiled.

Wiesman MF5 RoadsterThe architecture of the MF5 roadster version is very similar to its coupe sibling. The two cars are mirror images when the roadster has its top up. Slide down the cloth top and somehow you can distinguish the two cars because of the sleeker lines of the rear of the roadster version. The MF5 roadster achieves the balance it needs to live up to its name.

The Weismann vehicles are really natural eye catchers but we heard that the production version of the MF5 roadster will tone down the orange top and wheels.

Revealed: MP4-12C Supercar from McLaren

McLaren reveals the successor of the McLaren F1, the MP4-12C. It will be quite a task for the new McLaren supercar following the McLaren F1 which almost instantaneously gained the title as the fastest production vehicle when it was launched in 1998 and gripped the recognition until 2005.

McLaren MP4-12CA better supercar than the F1 is a very difficult feat to achieve so the car maker is not setting the bar too high for the MP4-12C. To each his own as the cliché goes since unlike the McLaren F1 the MP4-12C will compete with entry level super cars like the Gallardo LP560-4 from Lamborghini and the 458 Italia from Ferrari.

The public can expect more from the new arm of the motorsports company. The McLaren Automotive is set to release a trio of jaw dropping performance machines, and the 12C is just the first of them.

The Mclaren MP4-12C is a two-seater high performance super machine in the territory of rides which ranges from £125,000 to £175,000. The production of the MP4-12C will begin in 2010 and will officially be on sale the following year.
